My mom told me winter squash seeds grow well after bieng soaked in water (not a paper towel) for one week. When i put my seeds in a paper towel, she became angry and took out the paper towel and swatted the seeds away--perfectly into a bowl of water. she then proceeded to yell at me for not cleaning my room. Also, since it has been a week, tomorrow i will take the seeds and plant them in soil with the hope that life will follow. GO TWINS!

FAct about winter squash: Because squash is a tender vegetable, the seeds do not germinate in cold soil. They are also easily destroyed by frost. It is therefore necessary to plant after the soil is thoroughly warmed and all sign of frost has passed. (wikipedia)
