Post 5 of 22: Submergence

The seeds upon germination for ready to be planted. So i got a bunch of soil and put it in a large brown pot. Then I took all 20+ of my seeds and put them in and then covered the top soil with fertilizer. I put the pot outside where it could be exposed to sun because plants love sun. It helps them grow by feeding them with yellowness. Also plants grow towards light because the other side of the plant grows faster because when the seed first sprouts, the two sides of the plant, the cotyledons put money on who can grow faster. ANd the side thats darker can grow faster. SO right now my pot looks like a bunch of brown crap. I like it. Also i just watched the SNL with Rainn Wilson. I thought it was pretty funny and the musical guests were emo in a good way. peace. I am now going to bounce this joint.

Post 4 of 22: It is rank

WOW GUYS! the aroma of the growing seed embryo is like that of fresh urine. IT is very disgusting. In fact its so disgusting that i wanted to neutralized the terribleness of the smell with the good smell of pig heart preservative liquid. MMMM... I'm really craving some of that right now.

AS for the seeds themselves, I took some more pictures which i again was too lazy to upload (i;ll try to get them up by friday or saturday.) THe radicle of the seeds are significantly larger and every one of the seeds seem to have atleast a 3/4 inch radicle. I cracked open one of the seeds and made myself feel strong. actually no. i cracked one open and took a picture of they inside thing. it was a slightly yellowish color. I noticed the Two cotyledons. My mom--- i mean, my intuition, says that i shouldnt plant them for another day or two to make sure they ripe and fresh! Also my intuition wanted to know if i was hungry. it was pretty cool. I went on to eat some pita bread with tofu. GO HIPPIES!!!

So on friday or saturday i will put my seeds into the earth. (throw them onto my front lawn {just kidding.} ) no seriously, ima git da job don son. peace im outz.

Post 3 of 22:. Emergence of white stuff

I opened my ziploc bag and looked inside my damp papertowel. my okra seeds had changed. there was a drastic transformation in their appearance. it seems some white things had popped out of the seeds. they looked like the things that come out of old potatoes. i think this white object is called the radicle. almost all of my seeds have this radicle sticking out. i think i'll wait about another 3 to 4 days before planting this crap in soil. maybe the radicle is called so because it is radical. awesome. i took pictures but again, i'm too lazy to upload them now so i'll upload later. also, i just watched the all star game and the east got raped. good bye

Post 2 of 22: Okra is nice

i have decided that i will grow okra. today i got two paper towels, soaked them so they were dampa nd put the okra seeds in them. then i put the damp paper towel in a ziploc bag and wrote "dont throw away seeds" on the bag. then i put it behind th phone where no one would look. i took pictures but havent uploaded them yet. the first is a picture of the packet of seeds. second is the papertowel getting wet and the third is the seeds wrapped up in the papertowels ready to germinate. its nice.

plantage NOT

Before i began to tgrow the plants, i must place seeds of the plants into soil and put water and light into them. Light will satistfy the needs of thep lants. so will water. Water is good for plants. water is also good for humans, as well as for most fish. Plant growth is important because withouth plant growth, plants would be small and cows wouldnt have very much to eat, meaning big macs would not be so big. I like big macs but the only vegatably kinda things that are on plants are pickles (cucmbers), tomatoes(actually fruits although i disagree), onions (bulbs[wth is a bulb]). THe primary mass of a big mac is the beef. the beef is good. It has oil. Oil can also come from vegetables hence the name vegetable oil. Olive oil though, is the best. It tastes so good. I love it. It's friggin awesome. I like drinking it but i heard thats bad for you. Actually no. I heard that olive oil is worse for you cooked than uncooked. so basically its beter to eat olive oil raw? like at macarroni grill wher they give u free bread and olive oil dipping sauce stuff. thats good stuff, things and junk.

So basicallyi havent picked what i'm going to grow. Im gonna ask my mom whats for dinner in 4 months and if there are any vegetables that she needs i'll grow those. But first i have to ask her and shes sleeping now and i dont like waking her up during her sleeping so i cant tell you much more. I will edit this post later and add a picture of myself typing. (pfsht, i say this but i highly doubt this will happen.)
